J Wade Studio is a multifaceted hair studio located in the Northside of Chicago. Purposefully tucked away in a lofted space floors above the hustle and bustle of the city, J Wade Studio exists as a hidden hair sanctuary of positivity, premium hairdressing and empowering cool-girl-energy.
J Wade Studio was inspired by the life and artistry of the mother of founder Jen Akhnana. Following the passion of hairstyling passed down to her, Jen set forth on a journey to create a space that not only reflected her dreams, but also one that can empower the dreams of others. For the past five years J Wade Studio has become more than a space where confidence is built; it’s also become a place where family is made. Many, from all walks of life, have in J Wade a second home, trusted friends and life companions on their life journey.
